The role of Clubs for Children

Boys and Girls Clubs imply inspiration of young people to develop to their full potential as productive, responsible, and caring citizens. Over the years those clubs have adapted to meet the changing needs of youth in a changing, increasingly hazardous society. Today these BGC are as relevant for the positive development of kids as it was previously. The Boys and Girls Club have developed solutions and alternatives to many of the pressures and problems modern kids face. These clubs intervene with positive life-shaping programs, entertainment, producing the direction so many need. They provide the only family relationships and positive role models many will have and give them positive alternatives to neighbourhood gangs and destructive personal behaviour.

These BGC are often stick to a certain program, namely help young people avoid drugs, alcohol, and premature sexual activity; reject gangs and delinquent behaviour; resolve conflicts peacefully; adopt fitness as a way of life; build better relationships; develop leadership skills; explore their own creativity; pursue education and career aspirations, and many-many other positive activities. In other words, those clubs are very wise solution for parents to keep their children safe, self-content, and entertained.
